About

Beaver Conquest is a 'platform defense game' created by Michael Neumann. You take control of a beaver who has a arsenal of explosives which you must use to destroy the evil robots before they reach your signal tower. Game production took about 6 months to make as a side project to school and work. Beaver conquest was 100% created with Flash CS4 and programmed in Actionscript 3.0. Music by Drew Stoltzfus.

Tips

Beaver Conquest has many little pieces to it that can really change the game play depending on whether or not you utilize them to your advantage.

Unlimited Ammo

Both your grenade launcher and all of your mines have unlimmited ammunition. This means that when your cool down is finished with a mine, there is (usually) no reason not to use it. So this means after you use a land mine, once the cool-down finished (thus you can deploy another one), go ahead and lay it down. It's likely that it will come in handy later in the level.

Bonus Money

After every level you get bonus money based on how much signal strength is left. So the better you do to keep the robots off your signal tower, the more money you make.

Challenges

Challenges are very important because not only do they get you extra money, but you need to complete them in order to get higher-end upgrades. Which you'll need to get through the last levels.

Replay old levels

Stuck on a level? Can't seem to get past it no matter how hard you try? Well stop playing it, and go back to an easier one and build up some cash. This way you can buy some upgrades to make those harder levels a little less 'hard.'

Memorize

This is a bit annoying, but since the enemy waves are not generated randomly, you can memorize the enemy waves so you'll know what to expect. Just keep playing it until you beat it.
